Dr Conrad Coelho is a noted exponent of Latin and Ballroom Dancing in India.

An affiliated teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) , England, Conrad has gained the ISTD Associate Qualification in Modern Ballroom, the ISTD Licentiate Qualification in the Latin American genre and the ISTD Licentiate Qualification in Salsa. These certifications qualify Conrad Coelho as an Adjudicator as per the requirements of the British Dance Council. Dr Conrad Coelho is the first teacher in the world to gain the recently introduced ISTD Salsa Licentiate qualification.

Conrad is a passionate promoter of LA and Cuban Salsa Dancing and has the distinction of teaching various lesser known dances such as Bachata, Merengue, Rhythm Dancing, Paso Doble, Quickstep, etc in Mumbai. He's trained under various international dance professionals; incorporating several different dance styles. He is recognized for his amazing lead, unlimited database of moves/combinations and respected for teaching many people how to feel confident and express themselves on the dance floor. His workshops in colleges and corporate offices have always been extremely popular. He is also a seasoned performer and choreographer. Creativity and expression through movement and music has always been a focal point of his life.

Conrad Coelho also trains aspiring Dance Teachers towards gaining ISTD International Teaching Qualifications. 

An Engineer and MBA by qualification, Conrad is also a full time Business Management Professor and holds a PhD in Digital Marketing!

Dr Conrad Coelho's research straddles between adoption of Digital Technologies, Social Media Marketing and the Performing Arts Education. 

Conrad Coelho published a Research Paper titled ‘Online Dance Training in a Social Distancing Environment: Examining Preferences of Latin and Ballroom Dancers’ in the UGC CARE Listed Group I International Journal, Dance Education in Practice, Vol 06 2020. ‘Dance Education in Practice’ is the official journal of the ‘National Dance Education Organization’ (NDEO), USA; published by the Taylor and Francis Group, UK.
